Yes I think so, although it was absolutely soaking, I will drop by again. Any thoughts on what it is? I've been scanning the bolete section of the ID book but am unconvinced so far!!

Also found another load of large boletes under willow- didn't have camera, but will visit again.

the first one is a mushroom, very edible, the last few i found happened to fall into my fryingpan with hot oil for 30seconds per side, i tried in vain to rescue them with a fork but they fell one after the other into my mouth:thumbup:.. mmm, eat on day of appearance and check for maggots by removing stem, peel before cooking..:thumbup1:
