Makita top handle saw??

Here in North America, I know a dealer that speaks well of the saw. Ed Heard, who has woods modded several saws for me, has worked over one of two of them. I hear they are fairly good saws, stock less power than a 200T, and more than a 192T.

 

I've considered getting one, but actually want another modded 192T. They perk right up after mods are done, and the weight difference is significant.

 

I think the 3410TH weighs in at 7.1 lb, also in between the two Stihls......

Im a stihl man myself and i dont really like change. i was a little upset when we had to change from multiplat rope to these new fandagled rope with colours and stuff new knots to learn bah humbug... that said i have had in the past a makita saw and it was very good at least as good as the stihl.
