Alaskan mills are by far the best than Logosol which I've heard fall apart after 2 weeks.... !

 

 

Ho ho - of course not really. I'd even go as far to say the build quality is better on the Logosol. But it depends what you are cutting. The Alaskan is a good quiick method for setting up and planking timber particularly different shape lumps.

 

Logosol was developed/built Sweden so the system is based around milling evenly shaped softwood logs. Of course you can cut other logs but it takes a longer set up time than the Alaskan and is more expensive when you compare it to what an Alaskan will do.

 

Have a look at videos on youtube and this will give you a better idea of what will work best for you.
