Anyone know what this is?

Noticed it the other day. It's on a Purple Plum. I haven't seen anything like it before and thought it looked a bit different, just wanted to know what it is. its growing out of a wound and there is a smaller one on the tree aswell. and no it's not no more big gaps, i know that much. but it is really bright yellow soft velvety and wet to touch.

im not very good with my funigi ident and dont know that many but it was the colour of it that made me think this isn't that common. the picture was taken this evening in the day its almost florescent.

i dont think its chicken of the woods either, had a look at some pics of them on google and they look more like brackets, this isn't unless its just new and hasn,t formed yet.
