How do you do this?

I need some help transfering music from my I tunes programm onto my I pod.I have down loaded the songs from Lime wire and they have gone into a folder on my I tunes programm.Thing is I can't manage to get them onto my Ipod itself.Any online tutorials for this kind of thing?
