Just to say hello to everyone.

I'm Harvey, 39 nearly 40 y old and live in south yorkshire,

Got a wife and 2 daughters, I work mainly as a se joiner, but due to reccession having to do owt that pays the bills. Have also worked in transport and distribution management. Would love to have my own wagon one day, even a small 7.5t would do. Really into tractors at the mo. Intrested in this site to pick up any usefull info as i do small stuff to supply my elderly parents logs for their log burner.

Couple of questions if you dont mind

1) what do you all reckon to makita chainsaws

2)those of you who have you own wagons, how do you deal with the legalities of having/owning one.

cheers

Harvey.

Firstly, welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy it. On the subject of makita saws, the mid range (50cc) and up saws are good enough for what you want, just check with your local dealer for availability of parts etc. I'm afraid someone else will have to advise you on the truck side:001_smile:

Like steve said the 7900 is a really good saw super powerful and really revs, think parts availability has let them down and there prices have gone from the lower end of the price range to round about pro saw prices so have a shop around. Oh and lets see those tractors
