Hi,

Has anyone come across a stockists of Gransfor Bruks in Surrey by any chance? I can't decide between the maul and the large splitting axe and wanted to "feel" them in the flesh before I part with my cash.

Thanks.

It is abit heavier than the others ive used but its that bit of added weight that makes it split so well, There isnt a huge difference and you dont have to swing as hard with the gransfors as it goes threw it like no other axe ive used

The place that makes them are called Gränsfors Bruk, the town is called Gränsfors and the smithy (factory) is Bruk in swedish...:001_rolleyes:

Thanks, I knew that as it's in my nice little booklet that came with the last Axe I bought :001_rolleyes::001_smile:
