Have you considerd an old straw bale elevator might be able to adapt and pick one up at a farm sale or check out local farmers?

Binderberger do stand alone log conveyors with either electric or hydraulic drive.

length is 4 metres and belt can be either 25 or 40cm wide prices from£2126 +vat. Pm me for more details.

hi mendip, im looking for something similar as well, type in miniveyor into ebay the 4.5m ones look ok, they can handle soil so should handle logs easily but i dont know if the ribs on the belt would be big enough
