Lots and lots of them .

 

It's been a really good year for the frogs in my garden this year. We usually get loads of spawn, too much in fact, which tends to mean that there isn't enough food resources to get a decent amount of froglets.

 

This year, however, there was only a small amount of spawn, with the result that there are hundreds of these little cuties all over the garden at the moment.

 

I just wish the toads and newts that used to be so prolific could do the same.

Cool pic. We have a few frogs and for the first time a newt

 

I've noticed lots more wildlife in customers gardens this year. Loads of baby frogs and more birds nests than ever before, we've had to cancel a few jobs.

 

I persuaded a customer to leave their pond in because it had a few newts and was teeming with life.

All my babies have flown now, the Great Tits fledged first, followed by the blackbirds (they hung around the garden for so long, poor old Mum and Dad had their work cut out) and now the Robins left, Unfortunately one of the little Robins got entangled in the strawberry netting, took me an age to snip him free. Across the way, the woodpeckers young have flown too. Been a busy year!!

Our tame (Willow limb failure survivor) Parakeet chick (Minty) has now grown in to a full sized terradactyl with the appertite of a very hungry full sized terradactyl
