new planning application forms

after been slacking for a while i have a pile of applications to make,looking at the new forms they are twice the info required as before and on the check list you have to provide 3 copies of the forms the map and the tree report.

Im tempted to just send the first batch with one copy and see if they send them back if they do im gona have to buy a photo copyer!

How are people getting on with the new forms??

Mat, my local councol were happy with 1 form and a map which i got of their web site. i would imagine its different with other councils?

They where easy paul and there was only one copy needed....they changed them though begining of this month i gather it must be a nation wide thing as ive had cambs and herts councils notify me they would not exept the old forms

hhmmm i cant find any new forms for south cambs i must of imagined that!

Mat, just had a look at the local site, as of 6th April its now a national standard form 1APP looks like a lot more work!

matt its not yet law the you use 1app

I see iain its mandatory but not law,but surely councils could reject applications on old forms,is any one using 1app yet?

1APP came out beginning of April, and is the standard planning throughout the country. You can register as a professional and then submit applications on line tho' which may be better in some ways. My local council will now return any incomplete applications, so may as well do it the right way 1st time.

cheers andy,missed that one....I was hoping tony might add some thing but that thread pretty much clears it up....just gone through my mound of paper thats strewn every were and found an invite back in feb to the council briefing...must of opened it read the first line and gave it no more interest as it was not a permision for works form.

 

I also finally managed to get through to the council offices and she said they would accept one copy but three would be better...looks like ive got to try and fit a photo copyer in this shoe box room in the near future
