Just rushing out now and i havent a pic, but if you ask Peter on here i think he has had one done.

is it ok to do that and not cause any problems? just because there is no spark arrestor but idk if that would make a difference if there never was one. ill make the hole a bit bigger then

Rob, it will be fine as long as you give it enough fuel afterwards!

 

Removing the baffle and spark arrestor(if fitted) is the first and best improvement. Then, if you are technical/mathematical you can work out the surface area of the exhaust port(where the muffler bolts onto) while the muffler is off, then make the exit hole of the muffler 80% of the surface area of the port. Adjust jetting and you're away!
