Just rushing out now and i havent a pic, but if you ask Peter on here i think he has had one done.

is it ok to do that and not cause any problems? just because there is no spark arrestor but idk if that would make a difference if there never was one. ill make the hole a bit bigger then :)

Rob, it will be fine as long as you give it enough fuel afterwards!

 

Removing the baffle and spark arrestor(if fitted) is the first and best improvement. Then, if you are technical/mathematical you can work out the surface area of the exhaust port(where the muffler bolts onto) while the muffler is off, then make the exit hole of the muffler 80% of the surface area of the port. Adjust jetting and you're away!
