V cool mate; I went there about 10+ years ago and had a coffee! I had thought the owner was italian but I'm wondering if it was the same chap; I haven't a flippin clue about accents :blushing: He was a very obliging host I remember. Only other thing I remember is that the construction is unique in that it uses the existing rocky outcrop for foundations or summat like that???

LOL same guy i reckon- His accent is different to say the least! You can just see the rock that half of it is built on in one of the pics i think.:thumbup1:

Jesus, this brings back some memories, I took a girlfriend there for a meal in 1978, wine and everything, cost me a packet and all I got was a kiss :thumbdown:

 

Cor how could she have not benn overwhelmed by thye charms of it all??:001_rolleyes:

Tuckingmill, :001_tt2: very nice girl actually, far to nice for the likes of me, and apologies to anyone who thought my comments sexist, but being a youngster at the time, I did think a posh restaurant and a bottle of wine was sure to clinch it.
