What should I pay for Hardwoods?

Recommended Posts

Could someone tell me what I should expect to pay for hardwood?

At the moment I have just been using my own Spruce which cracks a fair bit and doesnt take detail easily.

I have found a guy who has some hardwoods but I havent a clue what is a good price to pay

I'm no expert but I would have thought you'd have a reply by now so I'll give it a go :001_smile:

Are you talking about buying a small amount or getting a big load in? My partner recently got a mixed 25 tonne load for his firewood business so I got some western red cedar tagged on to carve, seems to be nice and didn't work out too expensive.
