I've been to see a Bandit 90W today. Not a 90XP, but 90W, where is the makers plate, how old do you think it is and what's it worth. No hour clock fitted and a sort of savety bar. Any clues anyone?

The 90W is an american machine, its what became the xp. old 90's were mounted on a narrow chassis, and the engine range was limited. so the yanks built a wide chassis hence the w moniker, to make it more stable and able to accept the big diesel powerplants.

It will be an early 90's machine. as to what its worth -

I may know of a good home for one, you selling?:fisheye:

Bandits sold in the uk can often be referred to as a 90W also not just US built machines as Ed says it refers to a wider chassis over standard

If it was assembled by Kendall machinery(99-2004) or Global(2004-) there would be a plate usually on the side of the drawbar or the chassis, but they can get knocked off, sometimes there is a serial number stamped in the flat space next to the rear disk bearing mounting or on the top edge of the drawbar.

any pics?
