660 with oversized drive sprocket and 20 inch bar for everything?

How about...

A 441 will run a 28'' Bar ok.If he usually runs a 20'' bar,then it would be fine for about 99% of all the Trees I felled in the UK.

 

An 660 with a 30'' bar will sit in the shed most of the year.441 can be out making money and have the 28'' Bar for it hanging in the Shed.

 

28" is my biggest bar, as you say Mike, its very rare you NEED anything bigger, have wished I had a 48" a couple of times though for cross cutting.

all i use is a ms 200t and a ms441 with a 20inch bar buy a bigger saw when u need it thats what im doin

i have 200t 12", 230 16"(was free) and a 362 with 18"

 

the 362 is pretty heavy for snedding all day,,, tend to use the 230 for smaller stuff snedding..

 

the 362 is great, have done upto 28" so far,,
