Emergency elm takedown

Had to remove this old elm quicksmart last week.apparently it had ganoderma ??.large limb snapped out in high winds early thurs morn and we started it at lunch time.the boss said no to a crane so she had to be roped down,they gave us 4 days and she was done in 3.a few of the main laterals on the front stem were 20m plus long,end waiting the tip on a windy day with no high anchor,was some what of the hoop blinking variety.

again was a shame but target percentage was very high i.e joe public all day everyday.should of taken more pictures but am more interested in the comments regarding the ganoderma shout and the wind blown limb.

not really mate surrounded by beautiful lime's and a golf course green directly behind it.felled a big gum on fri with the winch,came over nicely too

Nice one, Looks like an interesting job, Big limb to have snapped, It looks really decayed at the base of the tear
