Hi there I am new to this so please forgive me if I am asking a stupid question.

I have a petzel Navaho Bod Fast which I use for my current job, which is rigging for the ents industry. Just wondered if this is suitable for tree work?

Thanks in advance for your help WG

One of these?

Yes, its ok. Its a work positioning and fall arrest harness. You ony need the work positioning bit. You could remove the shoulder straps if you want to, but as long as you attach via the lower front attachment and use the side D's then it is a work position harness, so yes.

Somoene else will probably quote an EN number or something that it hasn't got, and say that its not to be used at all ever, but essentially it would work fine and get you started.

it is a suitable harness for tree work, a friend of mine uses one, they are a very comfy harness and are good for a beginner tree climber because if you slip you dont end up sideways because of the sliding D!

It is suitable with or without the chest harness.
