Help with a hedge cutter

Thought id ask on here before taking it in to have it looked at.

 

The throttle cable keeps slipping off the throttle body on my long reach, can the throttle cable be tightened? or is there a way to modifiy it so it stays on?

As far as I can remember the inner cable goes round a small black disc this should have a torx screw on it at the carb end, screw this in and it will tighten it up for you.

 

Hope I'm thinking of the right machine.
