i cant recommend another machine, but i do have and use a gr1600 II on a daily basis and its a brilliant machine. i find it easy to use in all weather conditions and economical on fuel. :thumbup1:

i didnt find meny machines in the same waight and size range as it, izeki do a machine a little bigger but i like the kubota.

wheel horse where the domestic version of toro they no longer exist but there sinngle cylinder geared mowers are solid

we have had 5 of them

the only thing they suffer from in my experience is rotten decks and lack of maitanence to the bearing but i should think this is a problem with most mowers as our 6 ft kubota was the same

we even had a v2 perol in one of them although this was so powerful it shook the distributor apart
