HI,

does anyone have an old knackerd ms200t kicking about?

mine was in perfect conditon until today, when it was left in the drop zone (i had just had my ground saw sent up). my next chog landed directly onto it. yes as soon as i let it go i saw the white target on the ground - cue a loud dohh....

gutted was not the word, i couldnt really have go at the groundie, as i should have checked before i let go (or should i), it would be good to have a team watching your back and that you can depend on sometimes...... i already asked them to remove tools from the work area earlier today..

the saw does start up, but most of the plastic side plate/ starter plate cracked, side handle / main handle assembly is smashed, guide bar bent.

if anyone has a "doner" saw they wish to sell, i would be gratefull.

cheers.

Yes I might do. I know I have no chainbreak handles spare as they have been used up, but I definatly have starter sides in tact and clutch side plates mostly intact.

I'll look tomorrow.

Where are you?

Not far then. But I probably could post it. Let me have a look tomorrow. I've got two and some old bars (not perfect) but I know for sure there are no chain break handles, they are like rocking horse dna!

Oh and by the way , yes you should check the ground before you drop stuff! Of course good groundies should to, but you all have to be looking for stuff, not one or the other.

cheers - i think the chain brake handle is ok, - yeah i always give a "below" etc, just screwed up on that one...late in the day etc etc, thats when its going to happen.

The thing is the saw was left exactly where i had been landing everything else.

never "assume" eh..

I got a groundie to switch saws from me a few years back. When I got down I asked where the 200 was (020 then) he said he had put it one the wall over there.

Basically he had put it on the wall at the front of the property in full veiw of every passer by. Needless to say it was not there anymore. Yes, you do need to check up on them!

Hi. I've got one that had some bits taken out of the chain break mechanism but the rest of it is still ok?

No chain break handle thoug like I said, but left and right plastics all together, main handle ok, top handle all fine.

£30.00 + postage. Paypal would be fine, pm me if interested.

I doubt I can get it posted till friday though.
