is it ok to upgrade my MS260 sprocket size to 3/8?

scot you have been hanging around with the yanks on arborsite for too long!

Those guys probably run it on there 200ts as well.... with a 3 ft bar

 

LOL you might just be right!

 

I used to have a Husky 455 rancher with 3/8 and a 20" bar now that was a slow process! And yet much faster than my mates Husky 350 with .325.

looking at those videos of the performance i would sell the lot off and not both, the first video the saw is cutting through soft wood and is not quick as steve says.

second video looks more impressive until you realise that the wood being cut is best part rotten by the looks of it.

 

I would not use a saw all day that cut like that .

 

I can see a saw being used like that being knackered in 6 months of day in day out use.
