MS200T ticking noise

My ms200t is making a funny ticking sound i was told it was the rings they where well worn out so replaced them the head was fine but now the ticking sound is even more loud than before. has anyone no what it chould be. thaks

But if it was quiter before you took it to bits then take it to bits again and check your reassembly

 

What where the big and little end bearings like (shouldnt tick but should be checked anyway whilst in bits) When you did the rings was it just rings or did you fit a piston kit ? if so did you take a note of the arrow on the piston crown i think this should point down towards the exhaust port as to fit the piston the wrong way up would mean the locating pin for the rings and ring gaps are in the wrong place and could do serious damage

 

Is the exhaust sealed properly as a small blow here will sound like ticking
