20-22nd April: Ignite - woddfuel production and supply 3day LANTRA awards technical certificate will be awarded, course is a comprehensive introduction to production and background to the market

 

25th May: Managing woodlands for woodfuel - aimed at woodland owners and farm-foresters looking to manage small woods for their own fuel supplies or for sale, covering the whole process from measuring to selection for harvesting,

 

26th May: Woodfuel quaility standards - this course is designed to give woodfuel suppliers and large scale end users a better understanding of the various standards and regualtions applied to solid biofuels, including a practical session on sampling and measurement

 

8th September: Woodfuel farms and estates

 

all courses are run at the Green Wood Centre, Ironbridge, Telford

its also worth noting that people from within the west mids may be eligiable for upto 50% of these course, through landskills and west mids RDA
