New MS181 - not starting from cold properly

I'd leave it mate. All the tools where I work are stihl (strimmers, chainsaws, blowers, hedgecutters etc) and they all take a little while to get going at the start of the day. Once its started just let it run for a few seconds then very gradually start to just blip the throttle, as it gets going you'll be able to hold the throttle on more and more until it will run without bogging/stalling.

 

Just how 2-stroke engines work, all my old 2stroke motocross bikes were the same. Saying that though of the tools i've used, the chainsaws seem not to suffer from this as much.
