husky 323 strimmer help

my husky 323 has started playing up, it wont rev past about half way,

i have stripped and cleaned the carb, with no obvious signs of damage to gaskets etc, new plug and fuel,

the high adjustment screw will only let you turn it half a turn, have gone right through it adjusting lo screw, but seems to die at half throttle or above??? any ideas, cheers

Remove, dissassemble and clean the muffler; husky brushcutter exhausts used to choke up for fun; that would be a start...

cheers mate, ill give that a go

Mine did the same thing a couple of times. I sent it to the shop to be repaired in the end i think. It might of been the throttle cable in the end. It was a great bit of kit but it was replaced by the bigger and better 345rx.
