I deliver NPTC MEWP Operator training & assessment up at Sparsholt - but that's probably a bit far?

Anyway, if it's of any interest, PM me.

i have deen doing some phoning around today, and if i have cs/39 which i have then i only need a MEWP ticket that covers me for cs/47, is this correct:confused1:

I've found this to be one of those 'grey-areas' in the past, however... the CS47 only requires pre-requisites of CS30 and 31; you must also have the relevant MEWP Operators ticket for the type of MEWP you intend to work from.

If you intend to use a top handled saw when taking your CS47 ticket, then you must additionally have CS38/CS39 too.

So, having CS39 and a MEWP Operators ticket does not imply that you have the equivalent of CS47.

For further information, check out the NPTC website - look under assessment schedules and scroll down to the chainsaw (QCF) section. The link is here.

Hope it helps,

David.
