Thanks for the advice guys, will defo meet up with them bro, cant w8 to go now!!! what short of size trees will i be climbing????

If you want "short" trees, stay at home. :001_tt2:

If you want to know what SORT of sized trees you may be climbing around Vienna, then they can be very big indeed. When I was there I was regularly (almost daily) climbing trees of 30-35m (98 - 115 ft). 40m (131ft) are not uncommon either.

not to bad i found the most expensive thing was supermarket shopping to be honest with you 1 carrier bag and 40 euros later felt like i was walking out with my pants around my ankles!

But apart from that I didnt notice it to be more expensive than over here!

stuhleck is the closest about 40 mins to an hours drive. not till december though. and the trees aren't that big all the time depends who your working for and where your work is based. if your mainly in vienna, it'll be of no difference to england, except for maybe a few large poplars.

my boss is looking for a full-time, on the books climber.

We mostly do street trees and trees in schools and kindergardens. Everything from deadwood to complicated fells (complete cross-section of work)

He needs someone to replace me due to injury (skiing, not work related).

CS 30, 38 and 39 would be a minimum requirement.

Knowledge of german would be an advantage but not essential. Accomodation could also possibly be included (at least to begin with).

Wages dependant on experience.

alright mate.

just finished my climbing courses at myerscough college. although i have been climbing for 18 months now but i am fully qualified to do the job.

would love the oppertunity to come over there as i have one of my mates out there allready climbing in viena

hope to hear from you soon as this place is gettin run down for work.

cheers gary s.
