Yes exactly!  In the west we send a design to a factory and they say 'that's gonna cost £100 to make'.

In China they say 'how much do you want to pay and we'll make it to suit the cost'.  Back to front but its how it is.  

I think western companies get greedy, and think of a ridiculously low figure to increase profit, then wonder why no one is happy with the quality!
