Inner tube installed.. plus some other uses for the inner tubes.

Holds a carabiner secure on a tool strop and keeps a bit more length compared to girth hitching

I can imagine several cyclists returning to their pedals to find scraps of cut innertube hanging out, near to a freshly cut stump 😆

 

Kong, and I'm sure others, do a twisted carabiner which would allow the bar to sit nicely parrallel to the harness. Might prevent the chain catching on trousers.. I dont know if it would.

Cannot beat an old inner tube - so many uses. Also see 'Wild Sling' for another use. And windfalls.

Seen this, D ring and a couple of steel cable ties.
