hi having Bad day today the guy cutting with me today bust one of my saws dont know what he did wether he cut through the hinge or what but all i see was the tree coming off to the side pinching the saw and traping it on taking the saw apart i noticed some of the fins bust off the side of the pot and a few other small things am i right in thinking this will mean the saw will now overheat so mean a new pot and piston ?

For the price of a new pot and piston id get them changed mate, saves having to pay for a new saw if it does overheat and seize or whatever...

Thats all he would have to change if it siezed.

I'd just use it tbh and if it does sieze/pick up you know why.

We've been using a 357 for over a year now with 3 snapped fins, someone who wasn't thinking properly put it down behind an ivy covered fence out of my line of sight and i chucked a chunk on it.

It still runs well enough.
