If it can be gotten roadside in 2.4 or 3m lengths then it will have a value as biomass. 
 

best to call the local timber haulier and see what they will give you for it, don’t get too involved. Let the customer deal with them directly.

Whereabouts are you?  I sell this type of stuff to a guy along the road who does chip if I've got any, if you're nearby I can give you his number but if you're in Inverness then wouldn't be worth it.😂

It’s Tyndrum so might be too far!

Yeah, Tyndrum is only an hour or so away but it would probably make it uneconomical by the time you get there and back or pay haulage for a small amount.  Firewood will be your best bet, bound to be some cheapskate up there willing to cut it up and cart it off for minimal payment.
