Hi ArbTalkers

I am in need of a good, experienced climber to join our team on varied, mainly 'private' work, in West Cornwall.

Preferably 3+ years of good experience, driver (over 25 for my insurance - but if you're getting close & a good worker we can work something out!) and holding a rigging ticket already (but if you have plenty of rigging experience I can help you get a rigging ticket if you're a good fit with the team.

It would be a benefit to be able to drive vehicles up to 7.5t.

We have plenty of big complex jobs, and decent kit to take it all on.

The work would be on a F/T sub-contractor basis, and I would have at least 48 weeks of work a year (normally we stop for xmas - NY period and a week maybe in the summer) but if you are the right person for the job and can be responsible enough  run the show in my absence then you would be welcome to do so!

Starting date would be ASAP - I already have work programmed until early - mid november.

I tend to work on site with the team 2-4 days a week then use the rest of the time to quote / do job sheets / planning application / servicing & repairs. I have getting on for 30yrs industry experience, and am still climbing regularly - particularly on the more difficult jobs which others are less keen to do.

Feel free to drop me an email, or try calling  / texting to arrange a convenient time to call!

Better not to reply on here - as I only rarely have time to check.

Tom, Expertrees Ltd, [email protected] / 07989 394 885.

Cheeers!

Out of interest what would you be looking to pay someone who meets all your criteria? Not a trick question, just interested!

Good question, if it was the perfect person, probably whatever it took to get them while still being realistic. I have all those tickets and more, and if I was offered this type of work by someone else, ie regular, turn up and do the days work, no management etc I would quit running my business for around the amount I have in mind.
