I need a replacement strimmer.

Straight strimmer or multi tool?

Have milwaukee and stihl batteries. stihl chainsaw and pole saw.

Milwaukee workshop kit.

Will need a new hedge trimmer in future.

Would multi tool hedge trimmer work for a lady to use?

Would value experience and recommendations.

TIA

I didnt see the point in a multitool when attachments are so  expensive doesn't save much money really, so went for  dedicated tools for  makita 18v bats

Also I like proper bullhorn handles on strimmers but how big is the garden might be OTT?

Depends on the lady. Ive uses one of the  stihl long reach cordless hegders (probably a cheaper versions) wasn't a  very good machine  but im sure most ladies could use it weight wise kind similar to petrol i think with regards to weight so maybe not for a long time?

I prefer if possible  ladders & step ups and conventional reach machines ergonomically

With a step up u can cut 6ft hegde tops at waist height
