One of my assessors told us he started out in LA work, he saw it as a good opportunity to get climbing as a beginner as all the old lags were very happy to let him climb and offer advice.

 

Sometimes you hear of new climbers not being allowed to climb as there is time pressure, so they end up on the ground too much of the time.

 

Not for too long though, sounds like you'd get fatter not thinner on that work regime.
