Wanted: 266 Side Cover, Trailer for Ride On Mower and MK1 Land Rover

Hi guys, a friend of mine is after a few bits so I said I'd put a message up to see if anyone could help.

He's after a Husky 266 side cover with a decent chain brake band, a trailer for his ride on mower, preferably twin axle, braked with ramp. Weight at least a tonne. And finally a MK1 Landrover, goodish condition, reasonable money.

He doesn't want to travel miles so only stuff in the Kent area or nearby please.

If anyone can help please PM me or call 07892974698. Thanks, Tom.

Sorry Tom, but if your friend is after a series 1 Landie, then hes going to get a shock. "goodish condition" and "reasonsable money" are not two things you would usually find in the same sentence, unless you think £4k+ is reasonable.

I would advise going with a series 2, its longer wheelbase than most series 1's and woder track make it a better towing vehicle, it also has a bigger, more powerfull engine.

Thanks for the responses guys, the 266 side plate would be excellent if you have one Matty. If you could PM me if you find one that would be great.

Tree Feller, I'll PM now to get some details thanks.

And Bomag, I'm no expert on the Landy front, I hope my mate knows what to expect, I didnt ask him what he meant when he said "reasonable"!? I think he has his heart set on a MK1 though so I'll just pass on any info anyone provides. Thanks.
