Have records of inspection for kit that goes back a number of years now...

I tend to do a monthly sheet, mark all kit (numbered) and allocate a weekly check against all items.

i use a separate document for climbing kit inspections.

This is in addition to the six monthly "loler" inspection which is a document compiled by an independant assessor and filed in the same way for records.

Climbing kit gets independently assessed every twelve months...(loler )

Firstly, thanks for taking the time fellas :thumbup1:

 

Secondly, my very very bad :blushing:.....meant to ask for a six month thorough examination pro forma - for independant inspection.

 

I use the little green Orcahrd Hill books for personal record keeping, which are similar to the ones you have offered up.

 

We've had four of our staff put through the Lantra course & will be using them to check on equipment from different gangs at different sites.

 

The inspection records would ideally have somewhere to make specific comment on items like spliced eyes etc.....

 

Again, appologies for the lack of clarity.
