Another bonus is that you know the company is of a high standard. Which is always nice if your making such a big step!....... Where abouts in the world are you thinking of working?

Go to the library and look for local trust funds. Theres loads set up to help fund young people to do all sorts. My mate got 2g towards a round the world surf trip at 19. Rich old folk set these things up and no-one knows they are there.

You'd be amazed at what opportunities are available once you get yourself out there

to be honest the way i did it it i went to comps and met lots of other climbers and told them my plans and when jobs came up they would let you know, im back in europe now and am still getting offers for work. the people who know the most about working out side the uk are the contractors who work out side the uk there are enough of them. if you really want to find out about jobs and such id start by doing a comp and just asking people there when you meet them.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
