Hi all.

We have started to work with more and more schools and some ask for DBS checks, usually we endeavour to work in half terms etc for schools however quotes and reports tend to be in school times.

We have 10+ employees, so wondering if a basic DBS check would suit?

Not if you're being left.

Our schools require enhanced.

Well, the answer is enhanced no matter what anyone else says, some schools however may ask for basic, but in theory you should be chaperoned at all times and not be allowed to use the same toilets as the children, even if its half term.

A lot of schools won't require it during half term etc so long as you don't need to go into the building. The reason they require enhanced was due to an incident with a contractor who placed hidden cameras in the toilets 🤢

Most of schools I work with want the enhanced version, I pay the update as well, so if  I go to a different school they can just check me out. One lot of schools want the enhanced version even if your on site out of hours
