Crabapple tree disease advice

Question

Hi all. Looking for some expert advice on what's going on with our large crabapple tree please. It's been getting steadily worse each summer for the last few years. Although blossoming typically beautifully this Spring it now looks in a terrible state, with many bare branches and clumps of brown leaves. Any advice on what this is and what to do about it would be most welcome. See pics. Many thanks!

That looks like blossom wilt.

Cut out all the infected material, and burn it. I've treated a couple of cherrys like this, and sprayed the adjacent branches with a diluted mix of Jays fluid.

You have to be very methodical for a number of years, but both trees i have been treating are not showing any signs ofvthe disease.
