Bought this on ebay:

stihl backpack on eBay (end time 07-Feb-10 19:55:03 GMT)

I collected it today , cleaned the plug ,put some fuel in it and she fired up after a couple of pulls. The rotavator attachment is a bit stiff through lack of use, obviously done very little work.

It is a fr106, anyone know the equivalent current model, I like to know how much of a bargain I've got :thumbup::thumbup:

Also I will need a head to put a strimming line or blade on it. Anyone got one sitting in the back of their shed they want to sell, it has a 26mm shaft.

Thanks John

You could put a propelor on it and get a small dinghy etc etc....

I think the fitting should be the same as the current strimmers, they are all interchangeable. A strimmer head should be available as a spare part. In the catalogue its only availabe for the multi tool with a shaft at £130.00!! but it should be much less than that as a part on its own.

I have one in the back of the shed somewhere but its far to useful to sell!!

i think i have a brand new stihl strimmer head in the workshop, i will have a look tomorrow, other thing dont use to rotorvator on anything but already well worked soil, as they put so much stress on the other components, i have had problems will all the kit of mine that has run a rotorvator on, really they should be only put on the clearing saws with the bigger heavier shafts, which they of course dont fit on,
