The climbing comp (Norwich)

Just wondered who is entering the climbing competition. I can decide, I want to as it would be good to be part of and to meet up with people but i wouldnt say im a great climber only been climbing a year and still at college so wouldnt call myself experience or atall speedy so dont want to make a d!ck of myself. Been on the website and read the info there. was a bit releaved to see you climb on pre-installed lines. has anyone done the comp before and got an idea of the trees and the speed expected not to look a complete prat.

Jay, i havent done the climb but i did see it last year....its a straight forward climb, you wont have any problems with it at all. its set in to groups too so you will be climbing aloingside novices.

 

bear in mind there are always people who enter these comps purely for the taking part......climbing times vary enormously...enter, it will do you good.

I really want to enter this year as it's good experience and i know if i don't this year i never will again but i get so nervous it almost makes me feel nervous just thinking about it, I enjoyed it last time after I'd finished, but i am a little unfit to say the least. I barely get chance to climb at work these days and am yet to train at all! So i should imagine I'll be watching again this year. Does this comp clash with Capel Manor?

remember your work climb at Cardiff Steve! It was great even the judges were impressed, your gonna make it to top if you compete each year! Just remember who ya friends are won't you!
