no but you can spend on them.. after 5yrs of totally pain free driving and regular servicing the wifes 300tdi disco went nuts and so far this year its had all new back brakes, new clutch and its in now for headgasket, mechanic just rang to say the heads cracked and warped so needs new one as well as rad and thermostat, might be about £900 noooo. not happy but i know it'll last another 10 years+

 

sometimes they go, sometimes they blow - would the bill for a jap repair be double tho?:confused1: plus these missus's dont like driving anything other than discos do they - mrs logbaron loves her disco:thumbup:

Before I spend out serious money I check rear floor for rust and chassis. I just bought a 1992 trooper for £400 mot failure for yard work but its mint. I put a mat in it before I put my boots in then realised what I was doing.
