Breakthrough tonight. I have left about 4 messages on the e-f phone, and got a call tonight from the man himself. Apparently the 8 wheeler is broken down and will be back on the road on monday ish. I'll believe it when i see it though. What i heard is that all the larch they are cutting is infected with p.ramorum and cant be taken off site, and that there is a veritable mountain of the stuff up at Ley (trago area).

I dont believe a friggin word of it. You are the second person this week who has seen that lorry heading this way. The blag was that the lorry was broken down, then it was the crane that was having problems. He offered me an artic load, but he knows that i cant get an artic in here.
