hi i was just wondering if anyone could help me the other day i took 3 willows down on a new pair off spikes iv never had u use them before

rite these are the spikes Alloy Climbing Spurs i got on with them ok but i found the top strap or top buckle wanted to keep sliding round the back off my leg so the metal bar was not straight up the inside off my leg. can anyone help me out

I think hunnys sell a velcro strap which replaces the leather strap. The velcro has a metal band in it.

rite i will have to have a look asthat top strap moving about when it feels like it welded to my legs really is annoying cheers for ur help mate

They need to be tighter. The standard straps must be quite tight to hold the shank in position, almost uncomfortably tight I would say.

 

Changing the straps may help, although I still use the standard straps with no major problems.

Thats it, looks like theres 2 versions, id go for the more expensive ones with metal band in.

These are the ones we do.

 

 

10cm / 4” Velcro Pads fit BD14 & BD16 Climbers. Fitted with a metal Cinch Loop which allows the user to tighten the strap around the calf.

The user passes the strap through the metal cinch loop pulls tight and fastens using Velcro. Quick and Easy.

rite the other thing is as they are ajustable in the height how do i no if i have them the right height

and are the Velcro Wrap Pad much better than the normal one
