Hi, I'm still looking for suitable logs for growing mushrooms.

I'm told this is London Plane - can you tell me if it looks right please? I've been given misinformation before so just wanted to check.

Thanks,

MBE

You’d be better off selling the London plane to a saw miller.
Then buy in fresh cut oak at the right sizes.

The London Plane isn't mine to sell - it has been offered free locally. I only have the capacity to move small amounts, so I've just taken some suitably sized pieces for what I need.

Thanks all for the ID confirmation, I think these should be worth a go. :)
