Lumag Rambo HC15 or Jansen 1500E?

Hello all

 

LUMAG or JANSEN

 

Does anyone out there have any experience in being able to compare these two small chippers (or any others with similar scope for that matter)?

 

Any info in comparisons would be welcomed as i may be in the market.  Do you know if there are demo's anywhere?

Search on eBay or Facebook marketplace and get something built in Europe, preferably in England, even better from Warwickshire!

I'm only a domestic user. I have the Lumag, I'm thoroughly impressed with it. Keep feeding it with straight branches and so long as they fit, it munches it up. Not keen on smaller wiggly stuff.

Yes PeteB, I can see where you're going with that bit of marketting!  The CS100 does look pretty good and seems to have a slightly larger engine if I am not mistaken.  I suppose with all these machines it's a case of feeding them with single branches/stems rather than whole heaps of brash in one go.  It's the size of this type of machine that really appeals and particularly if its not a case of needing to get rid of whole large trees.

 

Do you know if the Greenmech CS100 will comfortably munch through >4in?

If you wanted to chip 4" and were a tad brave! It can rattle the fingers on some stuff!

 

To be fair, most things have a spot in the market but I would rather support a closer economy than prop up one from further afield! Except the Peruzzo as they did copy ours while smooching us into believing they were a good partner! 

 

Tbh, I see all these wannabees as financially a drain, worthless as a trade in/leg up to professional machines. As a homeowner, I would rather rent a good one than buy a bad one!

Check out the CS80. Same machine as the CS100 just fitted with the smaller 12hp Loncin lump. Knocks a grand off the sales price... And we have one in stock!🤪
