Master Arborist Qaulification

Hi All,

 

Just a quick one out of curiosity really,

Anyone done or heard of this and what level it would be equivilent?

I have my ISA cert Arb I did a few years ago online at a pearson vue, not that it helped much but it was quick and cheap to do and its about the equivilent to a level 2 or 3 I think.

Think I would be eligable in a year for the Master arb qualification, just wondering if its worth it, obviously it would be if you were working in the americas and the rest of the world

Hi, I think there are only 3 or 4 ISA Master Arborists in the UK currently.

 

Hence, respectfully, I would suggest the value in the UK to be quite limited and would consider other qualification options more recognised here, e.g. ABC L4 Arb Dip or FdSc Arb, but they are much larger quals and hence much work / commitment is involved.

 

Of course if you fancy USA or Canada, then go for it n "good luck"

Hi Paul, I trust you’re well, Alex is looking at doing some education to level 4, what would you suggest?
