ROPE LOGIC FLIPLINE WITH SWIVEL SNAP

Hi, has anyone ever used the Rope Logic Flipline. I have heard good things about them on American sites but not here in the UK?

They are ANSI rated Z183 ? I have bought one on Amazon global but am now wondering if they are OK for use in the UK?

I think the snap hook will be the problem. Does it have 3 way action to open it?

Yeah from a LOLER/insurance point of view that snap will be no good. Won't have a CE mark either.

OK thanks. Yep only a 2-way snap.

 If I cut it off and replace it with a 3- way carabiner do you think it will be OK?

The flip line itself is supposed to be bomb proof but has no CE mark just the Ansi

I mean, it depends if you want to be compliant with LOLER or not. 

 

If you're not fussed just keep it as is.

 

If you are then there are plenty of options in the UK for wire core lanyards with snap hooks
