Mechanical Prusik Knot

Hello! 

 

I'm a third year Product Design undergraduate researching into mechanical Prusik knots for my dissertation. I'd appreciate any viewpoints/ opinions (good or bad) you have on any makes/ models that you currently use or have used in the past e.g Petzl ZigZag, DMM Hitchclimber etc and if there were anything  you would change on these devices to improve them. The more opinions and viewpoints the better!

I use a zigzag would be good if you could put on mid line.
