Some Oak today

Was asked to Mill six Oak logs for a local lad. Told him I could do it for £400 or half the wood, which seems to be a cardinal sin here. [emoji3] Anyway, he let me keep 2/3 of the slabs I milled. Seems like it was a worthwhile day in the end.

Some of the logs maxes the mill out and had to be trimmed down a bit. All in the pissing rain that never stopped all day. Soaked to the bone.

The slabs below where what I ended up with.
